Lynn B. Newman, VP Environmental & Regulatory Affairs
Mr. Newman joined Standard Alcohol in 2010. As Vice President Environmental and Regulatory Affairs, he is responsible for ensuring that our products meet environmental and regulatory requirements, and staying abreast of emerging federal and state regulations. He is also responsible for intellectual property filings.
Mr. Newman's career spans four decades of executive leadership in Technology-focused industries, including Serena Software, Sterling Software and CA Technologies, and Financial industries with Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton. Throughout his career, Lynn has successfully guided the conceptualization and implementation of new technologies, product lines and marketing strategies, earning numerous industry awards for revenue growth and innovation. Versed in corporate cultures ranging from start-ups to mature Fortune 500 companies, Lynn has consistently demonstrated the skills necessary to transform raw ideas into successful, revenue-generating enterprises.
Lynn adheres to a firm belief in community service having served as a founding director on the board of the Children's Museum of Stockton, CA. He also served as a founding board director and president of the Chapel Preservation Society, successfully preserving a 100-year-old chapel for use as a community resource on Fox Island, WA. He also served with distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Newman earned a degree in accounting from San Diego Mesa College.
