Markets for our Fuel
The world runs on liquid fuels - primarily gasoline, diesel and kerosene. Presently the World is utilizes 85 million barrels of liquid fuels a day. This demand is projected to grow to almost 110 million barrels per day by the year 2030. However, supply is projected to decrease. The costs of drilling for oil are increasing as we drill deeper and in more sensitive areas. And we're producing less yield - often with catastrophic results. Hence, the demand for alternative fuels.
Our fuel works as a powerful oxygenate and fuel extender for gasoline and diesel. Oxygenates are fuel additives that help fuels combust more completely, creating a cleaner exhaust. Their use is mandated by the U.S. EPA in certain areas, and by other World governments in larger cities to help reduce air pollution primarily in high-density urban areas. The gasoline oxygenate market in America alone is over 1 million barrels a day.
Envirolene can be blended with petroleum-derived diesel and newer bio-diesel formulations to reduce particulate emissions to meet federally mandated standards. Testing at the SouthWest Research Institute found that a 10% volume blend of Envirolene to diesel lowers the particulate matter in diesel exhaust by 39%.
