Whether we understand fuel chemistry or not, we are effected by air and water quality. Here's how a high school student devised a simple particulate emissions test set-up to demonstrate tail-pipe air quality with samples of Envirolene® and gasoline.
The young scientist used clean tin dishes and cheesecloth filters for each sample of fuel. Smoke emissions were channeled through a stovepipe chimney using cheesecloth as a filter to trap unburned fuel and particulates.
The student and his father have operated a commercial van and personal vehicle on blends of Envirolene / gasoline in varying strengths. They and other motorists who have operated cars,trucks, motorcycles and personal watercraft on Envirolene blends are quite enthusiastic about the fuel's increased power, cleaner exhaust odor and ease of handling.
