Emissions & Engine Compatablity Testing
Enirolene fuel demonstrates excellent performance in reproducible and verified third party fuel test results. Independent laboratory analysis has been consistent with SA's alpha tests which showed mixed alcohol fuel performance with:
- Substantial reduction in exhaust emissions,
- Better detergent action than commercial gasoline's corrosion inhibitors,
- Confirmation of higher BTU and octane blending values than ethanol,
- Favorable mid-range volatile evaporation rate.
Elastomers, metals, emissions, fuels and engine testing has been completed by SouthWest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas, (SWRI), and smaller private laboratories in Texas and Los Angeles.
This was the first of its kind fuel testing program ever performed on mixed alcohols utilizing 2,200 gallons of Enirolene. Results were compiled and evaluated by the U.S. EPA in 2001 for Standard Alcohol to receive registration authority to commercialize and market to all 50 states.
