About SACA

Standard Alcohol Company of America, Inc., (SACA) was established to patent, demonstrate and commercialize a clean, powerful and profitable new blend of synthetically produced fuel alcohols to help meet the world’s growing demands for economic, convenient and safe energy.

The primary business of the SACA is to produce and license the use of E4 ENVIROLENE® mixed alcohol fuel produced from both renewable and fossil-fuel resources.
E4

Beginning in 1993, SACA was incorporated in the state of Colorado in 2000 as a privately held corporation. The Company’s research and demonstration efforts have secured its first two U.S. patents, one Mexico patent scheduled to issue Spring of 2010, and four trademarks. Additional formula-usage patents are pending in the United States and thirty-five foreign countries, including twenty-nine countries of the European Union.

SACA has been combusting higher mixed alcohol blends since 1995 and has gained real-world and lab experience on how mixed alcohols perform as a “neat” 100% fuel and as a blendstock with existing petroleum transportation and heating fuels. Using abundant feedstocks and existing technology, E4mixed alcohol fuel production is ready for scale-up construction. Today, SACA seeks to share its experiences with others wishing to capitalize upon this knowledge and intellectual property position.

Forming partnerships for E4 fuel production and use is the most basic of SACA’s commercialization strategies. The Company seeks to ensure that E4 meets public health, safety, environmental protection and economic goals for shareholders, partners and licensors.
